Whenever we think of acne, the image of a teenager with a face full of buttons comes to our mind. The reason behind this image is that acne is more prevalent among adolescents. Acne is regarded as the first stage of adolescence. But sometimes, adults are also victims of acne. This so-called adult acne. It is a fact that acne may occur at any age, so there is no need to worry that acne is curable and controllable at any time.

Acne adult can usually appear in the late twenties. Acne adult normally appears on the face, but in some cases it may appear on the legs, arms or back. The hormones and the skin is bound. Every time there is a hormonal imbalance in the human body will be reflected immediately effects on the skin. Under normal condition of women in the ovaries produce estrogen as well as testosterone. In a female of the concentration of estrogen should be higher than testosterone. When the concentration of these hormones in the body change, it poses the real problem.

Hormonal imbalance is reflected on the skin in the form of buttons, spots or white dots. Hormone therapy is one way to the hormone induced acne. The main aim of this therapy is to create a balance between the two hormones. This therapy works to reduce the androgen in order to prevent them from stimulating the sebaceous glands that produce oil excessive ultimately resulted in acne.

There are many treatments available adult acne that can be very effective. As proven by research that acne is not caused by poor hygiene or food, but this is rather caused by the hormonal imbalance in the human body. This should be handled by a professional dermatologist. It is advisable not to experiment with your skin. If you want to use a new product or treatment, we must first verify that the product is without side effects or harmful chemicals by asking a friend who has used the same or reading acne treatment comment.
