| Let me ask you a question ... Are you suffering from acne? Do you know what is the cause and is there any effective acne treatment? Studies show that an estimated 80% percent of people experience acne at some point. Nobody knows exactly what the cause of acne is, but there are a few theories. Let's look at 7 of them: 1. Acne usually begins between the ages of eleven and thirteen years. This is true in both men and women because of changes in hormone levels. These hormones, called androgens, will see more facial glands. The oil produced by the gland is known as sebum. The hair follicles too quickly lay dead cells and the cells of sebum and form a knot in the gland. 2. Pressure and friction tight clothes. Adults should avoid acne tight-collared shirts that could further irritate acne. Adult athletes may notice an outbreak of acne of equipment such as backpacks or sports helmets. 3. Acne can also be caused by genetics. Studies have shown that a family history of acne can affect if you have acne and the gravity thereof. So, if your father or mother had acne as a teenager, chances are that it will be a factor contributing to the cause of your acne. 4. Factors related to women Women are several factors which are not men who may be linked to the cause of acne. Women go through various stages of life to the origin of their hormone levels change. These changes can cause acne in adult women between two and seven days before their menstrual cycle. 5. Pregnancy and hormones Pregnant women also experience a fluctuation in hormones. Those who have had little or no contact Acne can see during their pregnancy and for some time after the child's birth until the hormone levels return to normal. 6. Menopause and hormones Menopause will cause changes in hormone levels in women and may be a cause of acne. Women also tend to wear heavy when the experience of a makeup acne outbreak, which only aggravates the problem further clog pores. 7.Stress. Particularly in adults, stress may be another cause of acne. When stressed, the hormone cortisol is produced. Cortisol will get worse every acne you already have. To prevent stress-related acne, try relaxation and meditation. Some adults experience acne gathering at spots on the skin. You should never try to press a button or, spots or any other spot on the face. This can only cause more acne, and possibly an infection. When cleaning your face, avoid harsh cleansers facial (they cause the creation of more sebum) and rub your face too vigorously. Treatment of acne The sad is that most of the products are sold over the counter acne for treatment. Most over-the-counter acne treatments are topical and are in the form of a cream, soap, cream or gel. Acne products normally contain benzoyl peroxide (good to kill bacteria, and possibly the reduction of oil production), sulphur (helps eliminate black and white dots) and / or salicylic acid (reduces speed of the cell to lose). The more severe cases may need prescription medication that acne is topical or oral. Acne oral medications can help reduce both the growth of the bacteria and inflammation of the gland. |
